01 Shipping document requirements。
Indian maritime imports and exports, in relation to the following documents:
(1) Signed invoice
(2) Packing list
(3)海运Bill of lading or bill of lading/air waybill
(4) Completed GATT Declaration form
(5) the declaration of the importer or his customs agent
(6)(provided if necessary)
(7) Letter of Credit/bank draft (provided if necessary)
(8) Insurance documents
(9) Import license
(10) Industrial license (if necessary)
(11) Laboratory report (provided when the goods are chemicals)
(12) Temporary exemption from tax
(13) Tariff Exemption Certificate (DEEC)
02 File supplementary requirements。
The Customs and Excise Department of India has issued Notice No. 33/2018 requiring importers to ensure that exporters overseas are informed of the following basic details to be taken into account when booking such goods, with effect from 1 April 2018:
(1) Importer Import and Export Code (IEC)
(2) Consumption Tax Importer ID Number (GSTIN)
(3) Importer's official email ID(shipping route and customs communication)
This notice is because hazardous waste is consigned, while other waste or limited items are imported under the names of some importers and have not been removed。Therefore, the importer's basic information must be recorded on the bill of lading so that these details can be used for DPD stacking and other purposes。
